Manufactured from approximately 1864 to 1876 in limited quantities. Chambered for .30 RF cartridges with 3" half octagon tip up barrel stamped on top flat "STEVENS & CO VEST POCKET PISTOL/CHICOPEE FALLS MASS." German silver blade front sight and notched hammer rear. Spur trigger iron frame with unique fish tail styled butt. Grips are smooth 2-piece rosewood. CONDITION: Good. Pistol exhibits an overall silver gray patina having been cleaned with some evidence of older corrosion. Grips are dark having impressions throughout. Right panel is broken but remains presentable with both halves being retained by the original grip screw. Bright bore with well defined rifling and some light pitting. Fine mechanics with tight lock up. BAS
