Made 1979. "SMITH & WESSON" marked on the left side of the barrel, with the caliber markings on the right. Trade mark and company address on the right side of the frame. Matching serials on the bottom of the butt and inside go the frame. Round pinned steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable up notch rear. 6-shot fluted cylinder. Factory nickel finish on the metal components. Square butt frame. Case colored, serrated trigger and spurred hammer. Checkered wood target grips with "S&W" medallions. Includes original blue velvet lined (plastic bottom) wood display case with cleaning tools. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Fired very little if at all post factory, as there are only 3 chambers with burn marks. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lock up. Very light drag line on the cylinder. Case is excellent overall, with a few cracks in the blue velvet lined insert.
