German World War II Luftwaffe M38 Fallschirmjager helmet in relic condition. Helmet exterior retains little of its gray-green paint with moderate to heavy freckling throughout. Interior exhibits very heavy freckling, with some of the original paint in the crown. Liner assembly is heavily damaged with a twisted band, and a very dry shrunken liner. Several liner pads are missing, and others are loose. Only half of the chinstrap assembly is present and is very dry and damaged. 4 aluminum bolts with heavily freckled steel nuts are present. CONDITION: Overall relic condition and poor. WEZ
