Winchester Model 70 Standard Weight Pre-64 bolt action rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1949. 26" Winchester Stainless Proof Steel barrel in .220 Swift with hooded ramp front sight, rear sight boss has a dovetail Posa type mount installed. Matted finish action with blued detachable steel floorplate, matching solid handle bolt with 3 position safety with rear bridge fitted with Posa scope block. Walnut checkered low comb stock with steel checkered buttplate and correct blued bow type sling swivels. CONDITION: Approximately 90% original blue with light handling marks. 90% action finish with bolt handle fading to a silvery patina. Approximately 90% original finish with light handling and usage marks with addition of light coat of linseed oil. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
