U.S.G.I. M31C pedestal mount and 1919/M2HB cradle designed to replace the M25 mount on the US military's MB "Willy's" Jeep. Pedestal mount and cradle are painted green, with the mount exhibiting a data plate stipulating its date of manufacture of 1945. Cradle allows for the use of both .30 caliber Browning 1919 machine guns, as well as the .50 caliber M2HB. CONDITION: Very good, with the pedestal and cradle retaining the majority of their green painted finish, exhibiting some flaking and minor losses overall, with exposed areas showing oxidation. Data plate shows some flaking but is otherwise fine. MLW
