Professionally framed presentation measuring 22" x 13" of a letter from Kriegsmarine Admiral Karl Donitz, on his personal letterhead dated "February 6, 1965", to a gentleman in Georgia thanking him for his letter and extending an invitation to visit him in Germany. The letter's focus is regarding an English translation of Donitz's book. The reverse of the presentation allows for the viewing of the back of the letter with Donitz's signature, and also inlcudes a biography of the Admiral. Also mounted to the front are a reproduction of a U-Boat badge, a cap eagle, a portrait postcard of Donitz (appears to be a wartime postcard), and the letter's envelope. On the frame are mounted 24 small Third Reich eagles with swastikas. Admiral Donitz was Hitler's successor after his suicide in April of 1945. CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
