Parker DHE Grade shotgun made by Parker Brothers Gun Company, Meriden, Connecticut in 1905. Rare factory live bird no safety 2 barrel set with first set being 30" Titanic Steel 12 gauge barrels with matted rib, matching splinter forearm, bead front sight, ejectors, 2 - 3/4" chambers, and fixed Full and Modified chokes. Second set of Titanic Steel barrels with ejectors, matching splinter forearm, bead front and mid sight have possibly been cut from 32" because they measure 29 - 7/8" with Cylinder and Cylinder chokes and gap at solder joint. Case hardened No. 2 frame with DH grade vignette and dog engraving, double triggers, and no safety. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with Parker hard rubber grip cap and Decelerator recoil pad. Comes in red felt lined case with tan simulated leather covering. CONDITION: 40% barrel blue with areas of carry wear turning a gray patina and some pitting covered with some cold blue on both barrels. Action has faded to a silvery patina. Stock has wrist repair hidden by pearl insert; wood has been heavily cleaned and recoil pad added. Good bores with good mechanics. All parts have matching numbers; gun does not appear in Parker Serialization Book. Case in good condition. Great gun to have restored. DLM
