Ramp front sight with red paint added for visibility, National Match style fixed rear sight with white "T" outline. Normal rollmark on left side for Remington Rand. Top of frame with "C" and "R" proofs; no ejector. Barrel with "C" proof on left lug. Small parts comprise narrow checkered hammer, serrated slide release, checkered magazine release, thick tab safety, long milled trigger, long 1911A1 grip safety. Frame with Colt VP proof on left side of trigger guard and subinspector proofs, right side of guard with "71". Serial number undisturbed, partially obliterated logo near fire control pins. During the rebuild, the custom gunsmith obliterated nearly all of the other marks, leaving only traces. Pachmayr wraparound grips. Knurled polymer mainspring housing. Full blue magazine with seam on rear, no visible maker marks. CONDITION: Slide has most all of the parkerized finish with some handling marks including silvering to high edges. Frame has the vast majority of a blued finish which is pluming, with handling marks and normal takedown marks. Silvering to high edges of frame and even consistent peppering under the blue, worse towards rear of frame. Mechanically fine (excepting missing ejector mentioned above), bore has strong rifling and oxidation towards chamber.
