P1 pistol manufactured by Walther in 1968. The left side of the slide bears the Walther banner logo followed by stampings stipulating the model and caliber designations, with the right side bearing a German "(Eagle) / N" commercial nitro proof and date code "9/64". Left side of trigger guard web is stamped "68" followed by an Ulm proof house stamp above an additional German commercial nitro proof. Right side of frame is stamped "Made in West-Germany". Frame exhibits a black anodized finish, with the slide and barrel being parkerized. Pistol is accompanied by its matching factory box, containing its matching factory paper test target, manual, cleaning rod, as well as 1 additional magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain virtually all of their original factory applied finishes, exhibiting some superficial handling marks overall from storage and handling. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined lands and grooves throughout. Box is very good, exhibiting some minor exterior wear. MLW
