Left side of buttstock is lightly inscribed "100". Matching numbers are present on the receiver, rear barrel band, floorplate, as well as on the interior of the upper laminated wood handguard. Bolt assembly does not match, but matches itself. Front sight hood is not present. Rifle is fitted with a period black leather sling. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original arsenal applied blue finish, exhibiting areas of thinning and wear overall that show through to a pleasant brown patina, as well as some areas of light surface oxidation. Buttplate shows areas of inactive oxidation and age related discoloration overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined lands and grooves throughout. Stock shows numerous mild dings and marks from storage and handling. Sling is malleable, exhibiting age related wear overall. MLW
