French or Belgian 19th century folding trigger double action only 9mm pinfire pepperbox revolver in the so called Apache configuration, named after Paris's ruthless gangs who often carried pinfire pepperboxes. This example features a floral engraved 6 shot fluted cylinder and foliate engraved frame. Grips are 2-piece checkered walnut, with the ejector rod threaded into the butt. CONDITION: Excellent. Cylinder retains bountiful amounts of original blued finish showing only light wear. Frame displays a pleasing silvery gray patina. Grip have some light wear, finish loss and a few minor impressions. Lightly frosted bores with well defined rifling. Indexes correctly. BAS
