Lot consists of: (A) World War I Model 1909 Bolo Knife with blade marked "U.S. / 1814" on obverse and "S.A. / (Flaming Bomb) / 1909" on reverse. Complete with leather scabbard marked "ROCK ISLAND / ARSENAL / 1915 / T.O.C." and "CO. B.". CONDITION: Blade exhibits a gray patina with scattered pitting. Wood grips exhibit handling wear with 3 carved hash marks on the left grip. Scabbard retains its leather belt loop and exhibits scattered dents and other blemishes. Knife does not lock with scabbard. (B) WWI Model 1904 Hospital Corps Bolo Knife with blade marked "US / 16006" on the obverse and "SA / (Flaming Bomb) / 1910" on reverse. Brass crossguard with 4-finger grooved wood grip. Complete with leather scabbard marked "N.A J.D.G. / ROCK ISLAND / ARSENAL / 1910 / T.C.C." and features a nice blued belt hook. CONDITION: Blade is bright with scattered blemishes. Guard exhibits a nice patina. Grip exhibits handling wear with scattered small dents. Scabbard is supple with tight stitching and scattered blemishes. (C) WWI Model 1917 Bolo Knife with blade marked "U.S. / MOD. 1917." on obverse and "PLUMB / PHILIA. / 1918" on reverse. Dark wood finger grooved grip. Complete with metal scabbard that is marked "U.S. / L.F & C. - 1918" and features a leather loop with brass belt hook. CONDITION: The blade exhibits pleasing amounts of its original finish. Grips have darkened with age and exhibit wear. Scabbard exhibits generous amounts of its original OD green paint. Scattered small dents and paint loss. (D) WWI Model 1917 Bolo Knife with blade marked "US / 48273" on obverse and "SA / (Flaming Bomb) / 1917" on reverse. Grip with grooved wood scales and locking mechanism for scabbard. Complete with canvas covered wood scabbard. Scabbard is marked "BRAUER BROS. / 1918" on leather drag. CONDITION: Blade retains a generous amount of its original finish with scattered blemishes. Grip scales have darkened with age. Scabbard locks properly and exhibits scattered blemishes.
