Lot consist of: (A) Manufactured in 1856. 5" octagonal barrel with a post front sight and a 2-line address, "ADDRESS SAML COLT / NEW YORK CITY". Brass trigger guard and back strap. Matching numbers throughout. 5 shot unfluted cylinder and a 1-piece varnished wood grip. CONDITION: The gun has no finish. Cylinder scene is about 50%. Grips retain 50% of the original varnish. Dark bore with pitting and frosting in the lands and grooves. (B) Original flask for an 1849 Pocket Revolver. CONDITION: Flask works correctly and has normal wear commensurate with age. (C) Allen pepper box revolver. There is some factory engraving on the frame. 2-piece varnished wood grip panels. CONDITION: Metal has turned a pleasing brown patina. Grips show normal wear. Gun appears to function correctly. Bores are dark with pitting and frosting.
