Made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1953. Blued 24" Standard Winchester Proof Steel barrel with hooded ramp gold bead front sight (missing hood) and correct rear Lyman fold down sight. Matte finish action with electropencilled "272696" marked bolt (matching action serial number) with solid handle bolt and 3 position safety. Factory drilled scope mount holes with non-factory plug screws. Blued steel quick detachable floorplate marked "SUPER GRADE". Checkered walnut Monte Carlo pistol grip stock with late style Super Grade cheekpiece, steel grip cap, and checkered buttplate, quick detachable sling swivel bases (missing swivels and leather strap) and black contrasting forearm cap. CONDITION: 90%+ original metal finish with light handling wear. 90% original varnish with hunting and usage dings and marks. Good bore and mechanics.
