Swiss Model 1929 Luger manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern in November of 1933. Toggle bears the Swiss cross within a shield, with the rear of the frame bearing W+F's encircled logo. Interior of frame is stamped "11.33" in takedown lever well, indicating the month and year of manufacture. Interior of frame and underside of receiver are stamped with a "(Rifle) N" indicating subcontracted manufacture by SIG. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered red plastic grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, sideplate, receiver, barrel, as well as on the rear toggle link. This example is accompanied by a Swiss brown leather holster stamped "JUH . BLASER/ SATTLER/ BERN/ 05" on the rear. Interior of holster is ink stamped "Kommando / Fusilier Komp. M. / 44". CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their Swiss factory applied blue finish, exhibiting mild edge wear overall, wear through to gray patina on the grip straps & grip safety, as well as some thinning on the barrel. Mirror bore with good rifling throughout. Left grip panel bears several losses, but otherwise appears sturdy and serviceable. Holster leather is malleable, exhibiting mild crazing and age related cracking from handling and storage. Closure strap is not present.
