Lot consists of: (A) Iron 1872 Indian Wars era US issue bed frame as would have been seen in frontier outposts. Consists of 2 pieces with hardware that appears to be all complete. (B) Pre-1900's soldiers wood footlocker. Measures approximately 40" x 20" x 16 - 1/2". Complete with key and functioning lock. This would have been used to store field gear along with personal items. CONDITION: Bed frame was primered. Foot locker exhibits stains, scuffs, scratches, and other blemishes consistent with handling and storage wear. PROVENANCE: Dr. Frank Wagner cavalry museum collection.
