Circa 1935. 30" barrels with PD Remington code, matted vent rib with ivory front bead and steel mid bead. Left side with Remington manufacturer and patent information, 12 gauge designation; full choke designations on lumps between barrels. Competition style forearm with point pattern checkering, Deely style latch release, and grooved for fingers. Action with iconic sliding hood that would later be mimicked by Krieghoff, pointer engraved on both sides of action, bottom with Remington's logo, "MODEL 32 TC" and serial number. Single selective mechanical trigger, automatic safety. Pistol grip stock with sidepanels, 2 panels of point pattern checkering, Remington hard rubber grip cap, Hawkins red waffle recoil pad. Housed in a green Remington case with spare set of 28" barrels, marked for Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes, and 3 date codes: LD, WE, and DC. No rib on 28" barrels with single steel bead sight. CONDITION: Good, retaining the vast majority of the bluing starting to turn plum, particularly on action, with some marks from handling and field use throughout. Rib has one divot on left side, approximately 6 - 1/2" from muzzle. Stocks have extensive crazing to finish and a crack at tang, but are sturdy. Second set of barrels commensurate, case very good. Mechanically fine, ejectors in time but weak, bores have light frosting from use.
