A very nice example of an Imperial German Prussian dragoon officer pickelhaube. National Colors cockade on (wearer's) right and Bavarian officer cockade on (wearer's) left. Original officer's scaled chinstrap. Very nice dragoon eagle on front. Brass hinterscheine, spitze teller, and glatte spitze. Hinterscheine exhibits slight separation. Squared front visor. Deluxe satin liner with brown leather sweatband. All insignia appears original with the exception of the Bavarian officer cockade. A few misshapen areas with scattered cracking and blemishes throughout. Front visor is separated and is loosely held in place by grommets. Nice patina. Dusty. CONDITION: Good, "out of the woodwork".
