Woodsman manufactured by Colt in 1940. The top of the barrel bears Colt's 2-line address, with the left side of the frame and slide bearing standard Colt factory markings. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered walnut grips. 6 - 1/2" barrel with patridge front sight and adjustable square notch rear sight. Pistol is accompanied by a period holster. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some wear at the left side of the muzzle and some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well-defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit some smoothing and a few minor nicks but are otherwise fine. Leather on holster exhibits mild crazing but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable.
