Circa 1976. An Italian made game gun with 28" nitro proof mono-bloc barrels. Blued barrels fit with ejectors, 2 - 3/4" chambers, fixed chokes, and a raised filed ventilated rib with a round steel bead front sight. Right barrel wing reads "Gardone V. G. Italy". Right side of top barrel and barrel wing reads "Acciaio Speciale", "Armi Flli Bertuzzi". All in gold script. Barrel flat with Italian proofs, "5273", "CAM. 70", and "AB". Top barrel on left stamped "18.3" and with proofmark. Bottom barrel on left stamped "KG1,540", "18.3", and with proof mark. The top barrel is choked Full and the bottom barrel is choked Modified. The sidelock action with Italian case colors has been appointed with gold line cocking indicators, case colored double triggers (front hinged). The action is adorned with light coverage English arabesque scrolls. The amber-colored Turkish walnut stock with contrasting figure has a straight hand grip, point pattern checkering with skip block borders, vacant stock oval, and a 1/2" leather covered recoil pad. The game forend is similarly checkered with a Deeley-style lever release. The shotgun lives in an associated single leather case that has the Armi Flli Bertuzzi black leather label on the interior of the lid. The case is fit with a square nickel oil bottle and a set of nickel snap caps. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel bores are bright and shiny, triggers are crisp, and ejectors function well. The buttstock and action both have minor handling/storage marks. The case is also in excellent condition, with a few minor handling/storage marks.
