Lot consists of: (A) Third Reich police bayonet with a "WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO SOLINGEN" marked nickel-plated steel blade that exhibits scattered light marks throughout its length. Nickel-plated brass fittings are excellent, with the police unit marking of "S.B.12718" present, which translates to Schotzpolizei, Polizeiverwaltung Berlin, Rack/Item #12718. Stag grips are undamaged with an aluminum Polizei emblem. Leather scabbard has light wear with minor blemishes, and the nickel-plated fittings exhibit a light patina. Scabbard exhibits matching number to bayonet. Leather frog with steel rivets is marked and dated 1942. Knot affixed to frog. CONDITION: Good. (B) Third Reich DLV dagger with an "F&A HELBIG STEINBACH K.R.M." marked steel blade, with blemishes throughout. Nickel-plated fittings exhibit heavy patina, and coarse blue leather wrapped wooden grip exhibits heavy wear. Steel scabbard wrapped in dark blue leather. Nice patina to scabbard mounts with scattered blemishes. DLV emblem on throat. With leather hanger that is supple, but with heavy cracks and wear. CONDITION: Good.
