Made in the post-1934 Remington era dovetail lump barrels with large bead front and bead mid sight on a solid, tapering, matted rib with Parker's Vulcan steel information with flanking arrows at rear of rib. Squared rib extension, with chip engraving at breeches. Barrel flats with Parker proofs, including overload proof, which has been stamped more than once. Lump with designation for a 20 gauge on a size 0 frame with serial number on left side. Ejectors. Splinter forearm with reinforced tip, Deely latch release, and double diamond point pattern checkering about the latch, with wrigglework on exterior iron. Interior iron with serial number. Boxlock action with October 25th patent information, serial number, and VH designation. Single selector trigger with sliding selector abutting trigger on left side. Automatic safety with "SAFE" engraved ahead of slide. Walnut stock with side panels is checkered about the wrist in a point and wave pattern, fit with a badge shaped German silver escutcheon at toe line, Parker hard rubber grip cap, and dog's head hard rubber buttplate. With a brass collection tag that reads "0089". CONDITION: Very good as restored. Barrels have some softening to legends and some fine pits under the bluing on bottom of tubes. Case colors with some very minor handling marks. Stocks are very good with some heavy handling marks through the varnish on left side of stock. Mechanically fine, bores have some striations from firing, ejectors somewhat soft but in time.
