Manufactured in 1924 with features including half moon front sight, and U-notch rear sight. Left side of slide is roll die stamped with Colt manufacture marking and "Model of 1911 U.S. Army" on right side. "H" inspector marking above firing pin retaining plate and "G" marking on bottom of slide. Barrel is marked "S" and "P" on each side of bottom lug. Right side of frame is marked with Untied States Property marking above serial number and left side of frame is marked with WTG inspector mark. Top of frame bridle near ejector is marked with "H" and "G" inspector markings. Frame small parts comprise of checkered spur hammer, knurled short trigger, mill cut checkered thick tab safety, checkered magazine release, checkered slide lock, and knurled round mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Checkered walnut stocks. Accompanied by unmarked Colt 2-tone magazine. CONDITION: Excellent, with the vast majority of the original blue finish remaining with scattered light handling marks. Grips show no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine. Bore is mirror-like with well-defined rifling.
