Manufactured in 1940 by Mauser with 1940 date code near breech and "42" Mauser manufacture code at toggle. All numbers match. Mounted with checkered wood grips that also match the rest of the gun. "(eagle) / 655" waffenamts visible on right side of frame with "(eagle) / (swastika)" firing proofs visible on right side of barrel and breech. Accompanied by 2 blued magazines with black plastic bottoms and Jean Weipert Offenbach 1941 dated black leather holster. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining near all of the original military blue finish with scattered light wear in usually handled areas. Grips have sharp checkering and no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Holster is excellent with handling marks.
