Blade front sight on matted ramp island with removable hood, stamped "SAKO / CAL .223" with proofs at shank. Grooved action with matted tops, rear boss with diopter rear sight, currently set for 100 yards. Left side of receiver with model designation, serial number, and proofs repeated. Restocked with a tightly grained walnut stock with schnabel forearm tip, with carved oakleaf panels at tip, forearm, and pistol grip, on a stippled ground. Pistol grip capped with a dark wood (ebony?) spacer with bone insert with a gothic "CF". Monte Carlo comb, end of stock with white line spacer and Pachmayr whiteline pad. CONDITION: Retains virtually all of the bluing throughout with some superficial scratches and handling marks throughout, receiver bluing starting to plum. Stocks very good with some handling marks throughout, but free of cracks or chips. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with strong rifling.
