Manufactured between January and August of 1945 by the Inland Division of General Motors. Parkerized "12-44" dated Inland barrel with "R" marked milled front sight and adjustable style "I.R. CO." rear. Round bolt. Inland marked trigger group with push button safety and "M" marked magazine release. Low wood M1A1 paratrooper folding stock marked "SA" on the underside of the fatboy style grip. Unmarked 4 rivet handguard retained by an "AI" marked bayonet lug barrel band. No magazine present. CONDITION: Very good overall. The vast majority of the parkerized finish is retained throughout with some mild wear. Stocks are fine as lightly cleaned with a few impressions. Very fine, bright and shiny bore. ME of 1. Fine mechanics.
