This is a 1917 Erfurt that has been reworked. Erfurt is on the toggle and 1917 over the chamber. It also has a death's head with a lazy S above it on the chamber. Some of the parts are restamped. The firing pin is number 28. The sear bar has been modified and is number 48. There are "(Crown) / N" commercial proofs on the breach block, front toggle link, right side of the receiver, and the bottom of the barrel. Strawed small parts. It has checkered wood grips. The inside of the right grip is broken, so the grip will not stay in place. Wood bottom magazine is numbered 3156s. It comes in an unmarked military style leather holster with an original takedown tool and an extra FXO magazine. On the front flap of the holster is a death's head stamp. It comes with a packet of research papers. CONDITION: This gun retains most of the reapplied blue finish. Straw parts were also restrawed. Grips show wear. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. The holster is solid with some of the stitching starting to seperate at the top.
