Late Meiji, 19th century. Aikuchi mounts with brass fittings engraved with florals on a bunch dot background, while the says is cloissone, depicting multicolor florals on a robin's egg blue background. Ubu, mumei tanto is out of polish with features obscured, but there is what appears to be a line of kinsuji along the left side, and it is of traditional make. CONDITION: Cloisone is very good with some hairline cracks and some minor handling marks. Tanto is out of polish as mentioned, with some light mossing and handling marks.
