Anthony Bonnet built rifles in Clarion Pa from 1868-1875. This half stock percussion rifle is stamped A. Bonnet Clarion PA on top of the octagon barrel flat. The lock is not marked. Features brass furniture with patch box, double set triggers, walnut stock, single leaf rear sight, replaced ramrod. The comb has a silver reinforcing rib. CONDITION. Barrel has been reblued and edges are soft. Stock is refinished with some repaired cracks on wrist and forearm. Hammer does not stay cocked. Bore is strong but shows abrasion.
