Manufactured circa mid to late 1930s for the Belgian military with state arsenal crown over "PH" and "A / ME" acceptance and testing stamps. Classically finished in full rust blue with early features. Drift adjustable blade front sight and 500 meter tangent rear sight. Slotted frame with 2-piece checkered walnut grips. Matching numbers observed on the frame, slide, and barrel. Accompanied by a walnut "1944" dated Canadian "S.A. LTD" stock with leather carrier and 2 total magazines. CONDITION: Very good. A very nice example retaining the vast majority of its arsenal blue with some mild high edge wear and scattered marks. Grips have a few flattened checkering points but are otherwise fine. Very fine mirror bore. Crisp mechanics. Stock is also very fine.
