21" round barrel with a threaded muzzle, and fit with a brass bead front sight on a sweated-on base, relieved for a sight hood, with a crosshatch matted ramp with screw. Williams half-ring sweated to barrel with dovetailed sling stud. Left side of shank marked ".458 EXP. 2 1/2"". QD turnoff scope mounts with peep rear sight at rear that doubles as an anchor for rear scope ring, fit with a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5x SFP scope with duplex reticle. Left side of fore ring with serial number. Reinforcement bolts under fore ring and tang. Stock with a contrasting black composite forearm cap is checkered in a point pattern about the forearm and wrist of pistol grip. Blued steel pistol grip cap, and shadowline cheekpiece. Stock terminates in a brown Decelerator pad with black line spacer. CONDITION: Good, showing evidence of field use. Retains the vast majority of the reapplied blued finish with some scattered surface mossing, some fine pits under the blue, and a spot of cleaned oxidation behind front sight ramp. Receiver commensurate, and shows evidence of drill-and-tap on right side for an adjustable rear sight, with relief area cut into stock, with holes plugged. Stock has cracks and fit issues through, and would benefit from a restock. Mechanically fine, bore with strong rifling, with moderate even frosting throughout. Glass is clear, somewhat sepia toned, and throws smoothly.
