Standard features include round blued steel barrel with two barrel bands, walnut stock, dated 1884 on the case color block. Rifle has all proper hardware with military inspector marks. Cartouche on left wrist has "SWP 1889" (Samuel Porter), All metal surfaces are a smooth blue-brown patina with sharp factory markings. Excellent walnut stocks with, the usual bumps and bruises associated with war-time use. CONDITION: Good good bore with clean rifling.
