30" dovetail lump barrels with ivory mid and fore beads. Barrels marked with Fox's Philadelphia legend and Chromox steel designation. Barrels are marked "C" and "27025" on action flats, partially jewelled. Faint proofs visible on underside of tubes, but obfuscated by refinish. Tapering concave rib with extension with machine cut matting and slotted for a crossbolt. Splinter forearm with ebony insert at tip, modified point pattern checkering, and a Deely latch release, engraved with wriggle work and geometrics. Interior iron with patent dates and matching serial number. Boxlock action with CE grade engraving of snipes, partridge, and a pointer in individual vignettes. Trigger guard with acanthus scroll about a ribbon, and serial number on long tang. Checkered panels behind action, automatic safety with "SAFE" engraved ahead of slide, and single selective Kautzky trigger bladed for a right handed shooter with selector slide abutting trigger. Nicely figured darkly colored walnut stock with English style straight grip, checkered in two panels about the wrist, and finished by an orange Silvers pad. CONDITION: Very good as refurbished. Barrels with virtually all of their newer bluing with some minor handling marks and thinning at muzzle, with legends and engraving softened but visible. Area of very fine oxidation about the forearm lump, with a drain hole ahead of lump. Stocks have been gently sanded and revarnished, with softening to sharp edges; checkering recut. Action with approximately half of the more recent vintage case colors, silvering at carry points.
