Manufactured in June of 1925 by Franz Kettner of Germany. Kettner had locations in both Cologne and Suhl. Configuration is 2 side-by-side shotgun barrels in 16 Bore with a lower rifled barrel in 9x57mmR. Blade rifle front sight near muzzle and flip up rifle rear sight mounted on rib. Mounted with a Kahles Helia Super 2.3-7.5x variable power scope. Checkered stock and forearm with added Pachmayr White Line red recoil pad. Decorative plate on left flat of stock. Frame is engraved with German style oak leaves on a fine punchdot background with depictions of a rabbit, stag, elk, and duck. Long tang horn trigger guard and inset horn forearm tip. CONDITION: Very good with the majority of the thinning original blue remaining mixing with a gray patina. Frame is essentially a gray patina with engraved animals covered in a hand-applied gold finish. Stock is very good, with minor chips and cracks near frame inlet points. Mechanically fine. Bores are bright.
