Made 1905. Blued 28" Crown steel barrels with automatic ejectors choked Full and Modified, with single brass bead sight. All page reference from L C SMITH SHOTGUNS by William Brophy. A total of 5044 Hammerless No 2 grade Hunter Arms Co Fulton New York guns were made with automatic ejectors. The fine engraving on the receiver features a single circular panel on each side with a quail and a duck in water with fine borders and florals. The blued barrels have the grade stamped on base (2E). The receiver was case colored. The gun features a single trigger and an engraved blued trigger guard. The checkered walnut straight grip stock has a black butt plate. The splinter forearm matches stock and all numbers are matching with ebony forearm tip. "Hunter Arms Fulton NY" stamped on rib. CONDITION: Excellent. The barrels retain about 95% finish with some minor age freckling. The lock up is tight. Bores are bright. Flashes of case colors but mostly faded to grey. Engraving is sharp. The stock shows the usual dings. Butt plate is chipped at toe. There is a minute hairline on both sides at wrist.
