This rifle is a Haenel type single shot hammerless falling block Schutzen rifle. The bore measures 8mm, but we do not know the exact type. The top of the frame is stamped "ORIGINAL", but the next word is not legible. The barrel base is stamped 6315 along with a sort of triangle with the letters KB and an R stamped outside the perimeter. The left side of the frame has an Imperial German proof stamp. The year 1932 is written in pencil under the forearm. The rifle features a full octagon barrel, fully matted with two scope blocks. The ramp front sight is missing the blade. The base for a tang lollipop style sight is present but no sight. The stock is a typical checkered walnut Schutzen style with a high cheek piece and heavy, in the white, Swiss buttplate. Rifle is equipped with swivels and double set triggers. The lever / trigger guard is a large Swiss style. This rifle features the case color receiver and blued barrel. Rifle sports a 3/4" tube Unertl 10X scope with standard cross hair reticle. The alloy adjustable mounts are marked Unertl. CONDITION. Excellent. The barrel retains approximately 97% blue with some light high edge and handling wear. The frame retains at least 85% case color, much of which is bright. The lever retains generous case color. There is a small closed hairline on both sides of wrist and wood has the usual impressions with some added finish. The bore is sharp. Double triggers work.
