Classic configuration with full brushed blue finish and checkered walnut grips. Frame stamped on the right with eagle "655" acceptance stamps. Externally visible numbers match. Complete with an aluminum bottom FXO magazine that is nonmatching but in the same "p" production block. Information included from the consignor indicates that this Luger was brought to the US by a Gerhard Muller at the end of World War II when he emigrated from Germany. Several WWII period photos, including one purported to be Muller in his Luftwaffe uniform, are included, as well as a wound badge, mother's cross, and 1941 dated H&K mess kit. CONDITION: Very good overall. Pistol retains the vast majority of its original blue with some high edge wear. Grips are very good with some flattened points. Bore is strong and bright with some light frosting. Crisp mechanics. This set displays well overall and deserves further research.
