According to Larry Ruth this example was presented to Harry Coen, General Motors Vice President of Labor Relations. It is fitted with a "5-44" dated Inland barrel with "N" marked front sight and “FI" adjustable rear. Blued round IO 3 bolt, "R.I." trigger, "I-I" firing pin, "BI" sear, "I-I" hammer, housing is very lightly marked with vertical Inland logo. "E.I." magazine catch, push button safety. Fiddleback walnut low wood stock is an Overton, although unmarked per Larry's notes, with "OI" 4-rivet hand guard, possibly a replacement, retained by a type 2 band. CONDITION: Very fine. The vast majority of the original parkerized finish is retained throughout with some wear on the working surfaces, bolt, and muzzle. Stock and hand guard are very fine with scattered light impressions. Crisp bore. ME of 1. Fine mechanics. PROVENANCE: Larry Ruth Collection
