Lot consists of: (A) US Army M1912 field grade officers dress visor hat. Hat is superb with gold bullion oak leaves on tarred leather visor. Inside retains all of its black polished cotton lining and thin russet leather sweatband. Sweatband retains original paper makers label that reads: "UNITED CLOTH AND CAP MAKERS OF NORTH AMERICA" along with the size "7 1/4" label. (B) US Army enlisted M1902 Signal Corps visor cap. Interior polished black cotton lining is present with "PHILA. DEPOT" stamp inside of band. Underside of brim shows a 1 - 1/2" split in the thin leather lining that does not go through. Sweatband is present but attached about 6". Two small moth nips observed to top of crown, one surface only. CONDITION: Both are very good and from a smoke free home.
