3rd model manufactured circa 1889 with special order half octagon barrel. Otherwise standard with sporting sights, full length magazine tube, 2-piece walnut stocks, and tool trap crescent rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Very good. Rifle exhibits a freckled chocolate patina throughout with some high edge wear. Stocks have been lightly sanded and reoiled. Right side of the stock has a split running back from the wrist. Good bore with some abrasion. Fine mechanics.
