Lot consists of: (A) M1887 Hospital Corps knife with Hospital Corps etching on blade. First pattern with a blade that widens toward the tip. Pitting throughout with polished guard and pommel. Complete with scabbard that is marked "WATERVLIET / ARSENAL". Scabbard exhibits scattered crazing but is sturdy. (B) M1880 hunting knife marked "U.S. / SPRINGFIELD" and numbered "2437". Blade with dark gray patina. Complete with scabbard that is marked "WATERVLIET / ARSENAL" on body and belt hook. (C) M1880 hunting knife marked "U.S. / SPRINGFIELD" and numbered "3731". Blade with gray patina and scattered chips. Complete with scabbard that is marked "R.I.A." on belt hook. Cracking on leather by belt hook. (D) M1873 entrenching tool marked "US" on handle. Gray patina with areas of pitting. (E) M1873 Trowel Bayonet. Chocolate patina. Wood haft in place and exhibits an old break. CONDITION: Fair-good.
