In the French taste. Both measure about 7 - 3/4" overall. Octagonal smoothbore barrels browned and with gilt decorations, swamped muzzles. Browned flat lock plates with swan neck cocks and bridled pans. Walnut stocks with checkered wrist and iron mounts in the French style. One horn ramrod a period replacement, both have steel tips. CONDITION: Very good, overall. Both retain 80-90% original brown finishes on locks, barrels and mounts. Some light wear to gilt and some thinning to areas of brown finish. Both in their original flintlock configuration with strong, well-functioning mechanisms. Stocks very good with a couple minor storage marks.
