One of 3,000 manufactured in 1980 to celebrate 75th anniversary of the Remington Model 11, direct precursor to the 1100. Finished in polished blue with a vent rib barrel with large white bead front sight. Left side of the receiver features deeply laser engraved hunting scenes with loose flowing folate scroll work, the central scene done in gold inlay. Right side has a central commemorative inscription with gold borders flanked by Model 11 and Model 1100 shotguns done in gold inlay with further scrollwork. Nicely figured diamond checkered walnut forend and pistol grip stock with red rubber Remington pad. CONDITION: Excellent. Virtually all of the factory blue is retained with only a few light marks. Stocks show only light handling. Fine mirror bore, likely unfired since factory proofing. Fine mechanics.
