Lot consists of: (A) US WWII Collins No. 18 survival knife, often referred to as the V-44 survival knife. Large clip point blade is stamped "COLLINS & CO. / LEGITIMUS / MADE IN U.S.A. / No. 18". Blade exhibits a light patina with faint impression. Large brass crossguard and black horn grip. Complete with its brown leather scabbard with elegantly tooled borders marked by Collins with their trademark logo. Reverse of scabbard is stamped with am Army officer's last name and serial number "WAHL / O1997012". Belt loop with faint tooled designs but remains intact. CONDITION: Very good. (B) US WWI Model 1918 brass handled knuckle knife. Marked "Aulion" beneath the correct roaring lion marking on the ricasso. Blade is bright with evidence of an older polishing. Complete with its correct metal scabbard. The brass handle exhibits a dark patina. The scabbard retains some of its original blued finish but exhibits areas of pitting. CONDITION: Good.
