According to the Colt archive letter. This gun was shipped as a .45/c with a 4 3/4" barrel, blue finish and stocks not listed. It was shipped to Momsen, Dunnegan, Ryan Company in El Paso, Texas on May 26, 1919 in a shipment of 2 guns. It now sports a set of two piece ivory grips manufactured by Ajax custom grips in Dallas, Texas. Two line barrel address on top of the barrel, "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." Caliber designation on the left side of the barrel, "45 COLT". Two line patent dates on the left side of the frame. VP proof on the left front trigger bow. CONDITION: This gun retains 5% of the blue finish in the protected areas. There is some case color in the protected areas. Good bore with well defined lands and grooves. Grips show some slight handling.
