Manufactured 1916. The .218 Bee was introduced in 1937. This is an old style Model 1892 on tang with a late Model 92 barrel in .218. The buttstock is the original 1892 style walnut with rifle buttplate and no comb flutes. The forearm is the later Model 65 oversized type. Barrel has late two line Winchester legend with PW proof. Features round barrel, button magazine, hooded ramp front sight and flat top rear. The left side of receiver has two plugged scope mounting holes. All of the blue metal finish was reapplied. CONDITION: Very good as altered and restored retaining nearly all the metal finish. Stock is shy to metal and refinished. The PW proof has been polished off frame. Bore is bright.
