Manufactured in 1905. Standard take down, blue finish, with full octagon barrel, full length magazine tube, a Marble's Sheard marked front sight, a Williams rear sight cut filler, and a Lyman tang sight. Walnut stock with rifle butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Excellent. The frame is a smooth soft patina with no visible finish, excepting upper tang which was protected by sight. Barrel retains at least 75% softening blue with high edge wear and some light freckling. The Winchester side barrel legend is crisp. Frame and barrel both show the PW stamp. The stock is excellent, proud to metal with usual light scattered dings & impressions. The forearm also has some light dings with some special figure. Action is fine. Bore is well defined but frosted. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
