As a mate to the 1970 Pacific Theater special edition Colt 1911-A1, this is the European Theater edition of which 9767 were made. It comes cased in a special oak display case with plaque and dummy ammo. It is fully nickel plated with burl walnut grips and a gold Colt medallion. The left side of the slide features the title "WORLD WAR II COMMEMORATIVE EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS", surrounded by oak leaf border. The right side lists famous battles such as Anzio and Bastogne, also surrounded by oak leaves. CONDITION: Shows as new with light handling. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
