Manufactured in 1890. Features four extra inches on the full octagon barrel, full tube magazine, replaced front sight, semi buckhorn rear sight, two line Winchester barrel legend on top, blue finish, walnut stock with trapdoor rifle butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Very good. All metal is a brown smooth patina with scattered age freckles. Legends are crisp with exception to brass carrier which is no longer legible. Stock is flush to metal, very dark, scattered dings but solid. Forearm is in same condition. Action works fine. Bore is well defined but frosted with abrasions. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
