Manufactured in 1902. Standard full octagon barrel, full tube magazine, blue finish, German silver tip front sight, semi buckhorn rear sight, walnut stock with rifle butt plate and matching forearm. Barrel stamped with Winchester legend and .22 Short. Brass follower is stamped .22 Short. CONDITION: Fine. The frame shows at least 70% blue, some still quite bright, with blending homogenous patina. Dust cover is patina. Flash of case color on hammer. Stock is proud to metal with usual minor dings & impressions. Forearm is about the same. Barrel is also a smooth blended blue with patina and sharp barrel legends. The magazine tube has some added blue finish. Bore has well defined continuous rifling but thin with some abrasions but better than usual. Much better than usually found. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
